I really love this fried mackerel recipe. Fish is one of the healthiest types of meat, rich in omega-3s and other nutrients that are great for the body. This dish is incredibly tasty, easy to make, and pairs wonderfully with polenta and garlic. You can find here the original Romanian garlic mujdei recipe (garlic sauce).
Since I was a child, my father used to make fried fish, and I’d eat as much as I could. The recipe is very simple, and you can substitute mackerel with any other fish you prefer or have available. The cooking time may vary depending on the quantity and the size of the pan. I recommend cooking it on low heat.
Let’s get started!
