Romanian Garlic Sauce – Mujdei

Anyone can make garlic sauce. The key is to make it with passion 🙂 Garlic sauce is as easy to prepare as it is delicious. What’s important is that when we can indulge, we make a truly flavorful garlic sauce.

You can also mix the garlic sauce with yogurt, sour cream, or mayonnaise to create an even richer, tastier dip. However, for dishes like fish, I recommend making a simple garlic sauce, without any extra ingredients.

  • Gradually add oil while continuing to mix until you achieve a mayonnaise-like consistency. Add salt to taste and keep stirring. For those who prefer a spicier garlic sauce, you can add a teaspoon of grated horseradish.
  • Garlic sauce pairs perfectly with fish, potatoes, shawarma, grilled meat, and more.
