Salad

  • Wash and dry the lettuce leaves thoroughly. If you have a lettuce leaf dryer it will make your job easier.
  • Slice the hard-boiled eggs and cut the prosciutto or ham into thin strips.
  • Cut the cheese into small cubes.
  • Place the lettuce leaves in a larger bowl for easy mixing. Add the cheese and the sliced ham or prosciutto.
  • Add the dressing (see below how I made it) and mix with a large spoon.
  • When serving, sprinkle the croutons over the salad for a crunchy texture.

Dressing

  • Put the olive oil and balsamic vinegar in a small bottle and shake well until a frothy dressing is formed.

Notes

I really like this salad because it’s very easy to make and looks great too. Of course, you can add other veggies as you wish.
