Salad with Eggs, Ham (Prosciutto), and Cheese

Salad
- 10 lettuce leaf
- 2 hard-boiled egg
- 100 g prosciutto or ham
- 100 g cheese such as Gouda or Emmental
- 50 g croutons
Dressing
- 3 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Instructions
Salad
- Wash and dry the lettuce leaves thoroughly. If you have a lettuce leaf dryer it will make your job easier.
- Slice the hard-boiled eggs and cut the prosciutto or ham into thin strips.
- Cut the cheese into small cubes.
- Place the lettuce leaves in a larger bowl for easy mixing. Add the cheese and the sliced ham or prosciutto.
- Add the dressing (see below how I made it) and mix with a large spoon.
- When serving, sprinkle the croutons over the salad for a crunchy texture.
Dressing
- Put the olive oil and balsamic vinegar in a small bottle and shake well until a frothy dressing is formed.
Notes
I really like this salad because it’s very easy to make and looks great too. Of course, you can add other veggies as you wish.
