Tagliatelle with Milk – A Sweet Childhood Delight

Equipment

Ingredients
300 g Tagliatelle
2 l milk
5 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 lemon optional – for the zest
1/4 tsp vanilla essence optional
Instructions
- Begin by heating the milk in a large pot, adding the 5 tablespoons of sugar and a pinch of salt. Be careful not to turn the heat too high, as you don’t want the milk to burn at the bottom of the pot. Stir occasionally to keep it from sticking.
- Once the milk starts to boil, add the tagliatelle and let it cook for the time recommended on the package – typically about 10 minutes. Stir continuously to ensure the pasta doesn't stick to the pot. Be careful not to overcook the pasta, as it will lose its delightful flavor.
- If you’d like to enhance the flavor, feel free to add a touch of vanilla essence or a little zest from a lemon or orange. This will give the dish an extra aromatic kick!
- You can enjoy this dish warm, right after cooking, or allow it to cool and serve it cold – whichever you prefer. Either way, it’s a delightful treat.
